Apostolic Church of Jesus Christ
Rev. Max Jones, Pastor
Pastor Clayton Baker
Clayton Baker joined the Apostolic Church of Jesus Christ family in 2011. He is the Assistant Pastor of the church, and serves also as the Superintendent of the Children’s Ministry and Men’s Ministry, as the senior Bible Class instructor, and also as supervisor of the church food pantry. In these many roles, Pastor Clayton assures that his mission as a servant of the Lord is to “receive, reciprocate, reflect, reevaluate, resolve and reassure our Pastor’s vision” for the Apostolic family. A native of Syracuse who graduated from Bishop Ludden High School, Assistant Pastor Baker was ordained an elder in 2016 by Kingdom Churches Worldwide, Inc. Among his educational credentials are a Master’s Degree in Education, a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education, an Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education, and recently an Associate Degree in Theology from the Bible Center of Theological Studies. Clayton enjoys studying the Word of God, cooking, and also spending time with his family. Most of all he joyfully works in the ministry alongside his wife Cheryl Baker, and loves being the father of seven children. Pastor Baker endeavors to live by the motto: “Can’t teach if you don’t learn.”
